Yamaha YXZ Seat Belt Harness Override Plug.

This harness override is used when UPGRADING your factory seat belts to a "harness" style seat belt / restraint system. Because the manufacturers of restraint harnesses do not have provisions to plug into the factory wiring harness the computer will activate a loud buzzer notifying the driver that their seat belt is not plugged in. This plug will turn off that buzzer.

It is imperative that the driver and all occupants in ANY UTV wear their seatbelts!

Q: Where is the proper plug\wire to install this product?

A: This Override Plug is to be installed in the connection at the bottom of your seat belt.
When you are upgrading your factory seat belt to a "harness" style restraint system you will be removing your factory seat belt connection. At the bottom of your seat belt buckle latch there is a white connector that you have to unplug to remove the seat belt connection.
Plug this connector into the connector that you unplugged your seat belt buckle wires from.

A: This plug will plug in at the base of the factory seat belt on the Driver's side.

When you install aftermarket restraint harnesses you will need to remove the factory latching portion of the seat belt. When you remove the factory seat belt latch you will unplug the connector at the bottom of the belt from the wiring harness. Plug the white jumper plug into the factory harness.

A: Yes, this will work on a YXZ SS. The plug at the bottom of the Driver's Side seat belt buckle should be a white 2 way connector. You will be unplugging this connector and removing the factory seat belt latch when you install your new restraint harnesses.

Plug in the YXZ Override Plug into the factory harness.

AND, always remember to buckle up!
